Effective and Appropriate Diagnosis and Treatment Planning

At Newport Orthotropic-Orthodontics we believe that an accurate diagnosis is the key procedure leading to a more perfect and speedier orthodontic outcome.  As was referred to in the "Orthodontic Technology" section, we are now using a diagnostic software called "Dawson Diagnostic Wizard".  This advanced diagnostic system allows us the capability of analyzing 21 different areas of your smile and facial elements simultaneously.  With this new diagnostic capability Newport Orthotropic-Orthodontics is truly in the forefront of Interdisciplinary Orthodontics  enabling us to transfer this important information to your Restorative Dentist and any other designated Health Professional for technical discussions and interdisciplinary planning prior to your Comprehensive Treatment Plan Appointment.  We also have developed a comprehensive "Brief Airway Evaluation Questionnaire" to allow speedier assessments of Compromised Airways and Obstructive Sleep Apnea problems and to help to development highly appropriate and effective treatment.

Infection control in our office is also very important to us.  To protect our patients and ourselves, we strictly maintain sterilization and cross contamination prevention using standards recommended by the American Dental Association (ADA), the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and the Center for Disease Control (CDC).
